The 1.5 release features a 13.5mm stem, from 13.9mm. This will increase the total travel to 3.5mm from 3.1mm. Will this affect the sound? No. Why change the original Green Jacket Linear? We felt as if the bottom out was a tad bit too harsh, as the shortened travel distance really emphasized that bottom out.

    The Green Jacket is my top 1 switches, my absolute best switches. Compared to the GJ OG, I like the high pitched sound of the OG more compared to the v1.5. These are still buttery smooth, just like the OG. From my batch of 108 switches, 3 had spring ping so overall that is very respectable.

    The Green Jackets themselves are fantastic and love the feel of them. However, as a previous buyer of GJ v1's and going back to grab more for a larger keyboard, it was difficult to understand how much different the feel from v1 to v1.5 is. The v1.5 feel was so different that even though they are both GJ's, intermixing them on a board feels like two completely different keys. Ended up having to rebuy 4 more bags just to have matching key set for the new board and the old v1's are unfortunately obsolete.

    Delicious sound. Bright, smooth feel. Replaced milky yellows on my RK68, and very impressed with these switches. I haven't opened them up and put them in straight out of the bag, I don't feel or hear the need for re-lubing (assuming they are). 9/10 (-1 because it turns white lights green but otherwise it's my favorite switch) ^^

    New KNC green jacket tactile, is the best tactile switches on the market hands down. Feel the tactile instantly! the weight is perfect, snappy on return and very solid stem. just take a little to get use too it.

    Bought the round 1.5 tactile version of the green jackets and they’re great! First set of tactile switches I own that have no leaf or spring ping! I’ve been using these for a couple days now and really enjoy the hyper tactility and smoothness of these switches, definitely recommend :))

    One of my favorite linear switches as of recent. I never got to try the OG linear as I went with the tactile version, so when they announced they were releasing a 1.5 I knew I had to cop. The hype is real!

    Great stock switch. Super smooth. Ready to use right away, no need to mod. Some springs do slightly ping, so if that bothers you, you might need to lube a few springs, other than that. These are an excellent smooth, clacky switch. Highly recommend.

    I don't go for tactile's, linear gang for life. But the fact I didn't need to lube them myself. They are immaculately lubed I don't know if KNC Hand lubes their switches but if they do, Fantastic job. I currently have them in the Feker Alice. They are a match made in heaven. The muted board with the clacky switches sound so good stock. I don't give out 5/5 but these were perfect in everyway. No housing wobble, barely any stem wobble, NO LEAF OR SPRING PING. At all! Completely usable out of the bag. If any one is questioning if they should buy these... You're literally wasting time. Just buy them.
