A Letter to the KNC Community: Thank You, and What's Next

It's strange how a business can feel like so much more than transactions and inventory. Over the years, KNC Keys became something I never expected — a real community. And now, as we close this chapter, I wanted to take a moment to share what's happening, why it's happening, and what comes next.

The Reality

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. The mechanical keyboard market has shifted dramatically over the past two years. What was once a thriving niche has become saturated, and the sales simply aren't there anymore. On top of that, my priorities have changed. My family, my career, my health — these things need my focus in ways they didn't before.

After a lot of reflection, I've made the decision to close KNC Keys and file for bankruptcy. It's not the ending I imagined when we started, but it's the right one.

Everything Must Go

We've marked down everything in the store — up to 60% off. Switches, kits, stabilizers, cases, accessories. No restock. No second chances. I'd rather see it go to people in this community who actually care about what we built together than let it sit in a warehouse somewhere.

If you've been eyeing something, now is the time. What's there is what's there.

What We Built Together

Even though the business is closing, I want you to know what we accomplished because of your support:

• Four water wells built in small villages in Togo, Africa — providing clean water to entire communities
• Donations to equality-focused causes that align with our values
• Support for local food banks and charitable organizations

None of that happens without you. You didn't just buy keyboards — you helped us give back in ways that mattered. That's something I'll carry with me long after this business is gone.

The Next Chapter: KNC Pulls

I'm not disappearing. I'm pivoting.

I've been quietly working on something new: KNC Pulls. Same energy, different hobby. I'm moving into the TCG space — buying, selling, and opening packs. Pokémon, One Piece, and whatever else catches my attention.

If you know me, you know I don't do anything halfway. This isn't just a side project — it's the next chapter. And I'd love for you to come along for the ride.

The Discord Stays Open

Even though KNC Keys is closing, I want to keep the Discord community alive. Not as a store, but as a place for connection. A place where the people who made this journey special can still hang out, share interests, and stay in touch.

Mechanical keyboards brought us together, but the friendships and conversations we've had go way beyond that. I don't want to lose that.
